Fall 2014 Rush

Join the brothers of Sigma Nu Fraternity as we welcome potential students the opportunity to become part of a brotherhood like no other at JMU. As one of the elite fraternities on the rise, we have an excellent intramural sports program. We have gone to 5 championships and just recently won the softball championship. We also have great community service efforts within Harrisonburg and coordinate our philanthropy with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Rush schedule TBA. If you have any questions contact the rush chair.

As the oldest fraternity on JMU's campus we boast over 800 initiated members. Approaching our 40th anniversary, JMU Sigma Nu has many notable alumni who give back to the fraternity. Along with many opportunities to reach out, the alumni provide for us financial support, academic scholarships, career opportunities, and a strong voice on campus.

With a very strong emphasis on brotherhood, the Sigma Nu chapter at JMU just reached 100 brothers and had 2 large rush classes, one being the biggest we have had in over 20 years.

As we continue our great success, we have thrived in every area athletically, academically, socially, and philanthropically.

Don't forget to fill out our Rush Questionnaire.

These are great times for Iota Delta. We are on a steadfast march back to Rock Chapter. To potential rushes, now is a great time to rush Sigma Nu. To our alumni, thank you sincerely for your support. We have invested significant effort in our web site so you can see what is going on today in Iota Delta -- please have a look around.

Exciting Times for our Alumni

It is with great pleasure that I announce the availability of individual composite pictures on our Chapter's web site!

We have diligently scanned every composite of our Chapter, from our first composite in 1976 to the present day. We then cropped each brother's individual picture and filed it under their badge number. In total, we scanned, cropped and organized approximately 2,000 individual pictures.

To view these pictures, go to our Alumni List to browse by badge number. Be prepared for a blast from the past! Because most brothers appeared in multiple composites from different years, we selected the last-taken (senior) composite picture to display. Pictures from other years remain in our archive; please contact us if you would like copies of these pictures or would like to have your selected online picture changed.
